Like all other things, you should care for your gemstones and gemstones jewelry. Dust, skin oil, and other unclean substances can damage your gemstones sparkle. The best and easiest thing to clean gemstones is using a clean cotton cloth. Clean gemstones and gemstone jewelry gently with a clean cotton piece of cloth, every time after use them and store them wrapping in a soft cloth each, separately.
Also you can clean gemstones with soap and water, but sometimes this could damage some metals. Also take your gemstone jewelries to a jeweler at least once a year and check to make sure stones mounted tightly to the setting to avoid falling out.
